Sonia Quintero Yoga to me is a devotional and loving way to find the true spirit that lives inside each and every one of us. It is with this openhearted approach that I passionately come in and teach my classes. I live to share my practice with the freedom of self-expression, freshness and fun while still finding the healing in the breath and movement. My humble philosophy and teachings, offer a class infused with loving kindness, creativity, humor and devotion, while still maintaining a vigorous fun-filled yogic flow. “Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in the heart.” ~ Unknown |
Rose Levy Goldberg Rose began her spiritual journey 18 years ago as a student of yoga, and became Yoga Alliance certified teacher 8 years ago under the guidance of Wendy Gross, RYT, at the Yoga and Healing Center in Scotch Plains, NJ. Rose has continued her training at the annual Omega Yoga Conferences in NYC, where she was honored to study with Rodney Yee and Shiva Rea. She has attended Jimmy Barkan's level II training in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and most recently did Baron Baptiste's teacher training. Rose's class provides a warm, safe, soothing environment that is calming to the mind and body. Her students often comment that they take the lessons learned on the yoga mat into thier everyday situations to help create balance and harmony in their lives. |
Chris Cordasco I left the corporate world in 2010 to pursue a less conventional but more gratifying career in yoga. With over ten years experience of practicing, attending workshops and advance trainings, I traveled to Florida in the summer of 2010 to attend Jimmy Barkan's Hot Yoga teacher training and achieved RYT 200 Hour certification. Armed with this mighty piece of paper and a love for yoga, with it's amazing physical, mental and spiritual benefits, I embarked on a full time career teaching at various locations through out NJ and privately. The question often arises of "what kind of yoga do you teach"? There are so many different styles and all are amazing in their own way. Each class of mine is somewhat different, but at the same time familiar. At it's core, it's a hot Vinyasa flow, with a focus on proper alignment and breathing while building strength and flexibility. So don't worry, you'll be able to keep up as the class is geared for the beginner to the advanced practitioner alike. By the end, your monkey mind will likely be tamed and you will be left with a sense of peace, well being and probably quite sweaty. For further information please visit christophercordasco.com. |
Danielle Mojo HYR Founder/Owner In 2008 I completed my 200 hour Yoga teacher training in Vinyasa yoga with the Bright Spirit program in Hoboken NJ. I studied under the mentoring of Jillian Pranksy, Carrie Parker, my "imaginary" guru Pema Chodron and of course the first yogi I have ever known, my mom. With the support of all of these women and through my yoga practice I found a voice and strength within me I never knew existed. In 2010 this voice gave way to the creation of Hot Yoga Revolution.. in many ways it is my anthem. This studio was created with my love for a vigorous physical practice, music, spirit, community, and the life transforming wisdom of yoga & buddhism. I have since expanded my knowledge with training in Baptiste Power flow as well as some work in Ashtanga, Kula, Kundalini & Restorative Yoga. My teaching philosophy is to honor individuality, encourage students take a journey inward, connect with playfullness of life and wake up their own personal anthem. |
Cheryl Barclay I fell in love with yoga after practicing regularly for only a few months and, unlike other means of physical activity, I find it is something I cannot wait to do! I experience yoga as a beautiful dance, a gift I can savor for my entire life, as yoga provides a space for my own inner, spiritual communion through powerful, cleansing, life-giving breath, deep stretching and yes, plenty of sweating! :-) I completed my Yoga Teacher Training and earned my 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification with the amazing Wendy Gross-Pinto at the Yoga and Healing Center in Scotch Plains. I especially enjoy Hot Power Vinyasa as well as Soul Sweat Asana, both of which have helped me to cultivate a sense of freedom, joyfulness, celebration and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and power of my body and spirit. I am so honored to now be able to share these gifts with others through my teaching. My ultimate goal is to inspire all of us to connect more deeply with our own essence, and love living in our bodies!
